Online couples therapy · Iowa & Missouri

Connection is a language you can learn.

Communication, active listening, and empathy are skills. Like learning a second language, they take patience, practice, and a willingness to keep building together.

Practice, not perfection

Learn how to hear and be heard.

Couples often arrive feeling stuck in a pattern rather than lacking love. One person reaches harder while the other pulls away. Both leave the conversation feeling unheard.

We will work actively on communication, listening, and empathy in session. You will not only talk about the problem; you will practice a different way of talking to each other, one step at a time.

Learning these skills can feel like learning a second language. It is valid for the process to take time. What matters is the willingness to practice and build on what you learn.

All of your relationship is welcome

Affirming care without assumptions.

I am queer-identifying and provide affirming therapy for LGBTQ+ couples, trans partners, polyamorous relationships, consensual non-monogamy, and kink-positive relationships. I am here to show up with you in the way you need, regardless of societal expectations.

My work is nonreligious and secular. If spirituality is meaningful to you, we can explore it through your own spiritual lens without imposing a belief system.
